Introduction
base2bot now supports Microsoft Teams, giving customers more flexibility in how they contact base2services. Customers can continue to use their own Slack channels as they do today, and now they can also raise requests directly from Microsoft Teams.
No matter which platform a customer uses, their message is delivered straight to the base2services team for quick visibility and response.
How base2bot Works for Customers
Each customer has their own dedicated communication channel with base2bot. This can now be:
- A Slack channel
- A Microsoft Teams channel
When a customer sends a message to base2bot, the bot immediately notifies the base2services team that a new request has been raised. This ensures all customer queries are visible in one place and handled promptly.
What’s New with Microsoft Teams
Customers who use Microsoft Teams can now:
- Send requests to base2bot directly from Teams
- Have their messages instantly delivered to the base2services support team
- Receive faster responses without needing to switch platforms
- Work in the tool they already use every day
This gives customers the same level of support experience across both Slack and Teams.
What base2services Sees
When a customer sends a message from Slack or Teams:
- The message appears instantly for the base2services team
- The team can acknowledge that the request is being handled
- A direct link is available to respond back to the customer in the original platform

Acknowledgments and Responses
Once a message is received:
- A base2services team member can acknowledge the request
- Everyone can see that the request is now being handled
- The team can jump straight back into Slack or Teams to reply directly to the customer
